Vending Times: Andre Lawless Launches Entertainment / Amusement Marketing Firm

CARLSBAD, CA — Industry veteran Andre Lawless has announced his formation of Lawless Marketing to serve manufacturers, operators and locations in the entertainment and amusement industries. The company specializes in launching innovative products with expert marketing crafted to build brands, generate leads, attract users and sell products.
Lawless brings more than two decades of experience to his new endeavor. He has led in-house marketing and consulting projects for a number of well-known companies in the location-based amusement and entertainment segment, including Ecast’s groundbreaking jukebox and broadband media network, Rock-Ola's and NSM Music’s first digital jukeboxes and NTN Buzztime’s tablet and trivia network in Buffalo Wild Wings nationwide.
Having served single clients in long-term engagements, Lawless now formally is offering Lawless Marketing’s services to prospective new clients.

Lawless recently led go-to-market and brand/messaging initiatives for Zero Latency’s pioneering free-roam virtual reality arenas, notably spearheading grand opening marketing and public relations programs for its Main Event (Orlando, FL), Kalahari Resorts (Poconos, PA), and MGM Grand (Las Vegas, NV) locations, as well as leading their award-winning tradeshow launches at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo and DEAL (the Dubai Entertainment Amusement & Leisure exhibition).
For VR visionaries Holodeck VR and Minority Media (Chaos Jump), Lawless developed key brand messaging, directed public relations, and created sales support marketing materials (brochures, videos and emails) to raise industry awareness of these novel products. Previously, Lawless played an integral role in marketing for Pokémon, in addition to serving as marketing lead for companies selling Harry Potter, Marvel, DC Comics, and Star Wars-licensed tabletop games, video console games, and mobile titles.
Lawless was invited to speak to a full house of amusement operators at the 2019 Amusement Expo during its VR Education Summit, participating in a panel session on “How to Launch, Market and Drive Traffic to your VR Attraction.” In 2018, Lawless co-produced the Amusement Expo’s inaugural VR Education Summit and spoke during the standing-room-only panel session, “Marketing and Positioning your VR Attraction for Maximum Reach and ROI.”
